Goji berries (or wolfberries) originate from China. They have been used since 500 BC. In Asia, they are used in cooking as well as to make dyes. This red fruit, measuring 1 to 2 cm, is considered a "superfruit" with fantastic nutritional properties because it contains 18 amino acids, 8 of which are essential, meaning they are not synthesized by the human body and must therefore be provided by diet. Goji berries also provide a significant source of vitamins (B1, B2, B6, C, and E), minerals, fatty acids, and trace elements (calcium, zinc, phosphorus...).
Benefits: Goji berries are renowned for their anti-inflammatory properties and for regulating cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
