Duck fritons are made from duck fat and lean meat from the Landes region, raised outdoors in accordance with traditional farming practices. With a slow growth rate, the ducks are force-fed whole corn kernels for more flavor. You can serve duck fritons as a starter, on a plate with country bread, where it will delight your guests with its deliciousness. It will complete your aperitif, with a good glass of Anjou white wine or, depending on your taste, an Arbois red from the Jura.
